Okay, I actually like this one.
The illustration actually defines what “became” means really well without also being a terrible drawing. I’ll give you this one, Super Dictionary.
(The only thing I’m wondering is what are those people in the background marveling at, and why is Clark going all Superman without even being behind a bush. Also, on thinking about it more, it’s weird that they gave a past-tense verb its own definition. They usually don’t do that.)
