Holy fish telepathy, Aquaman!

Sorry, prepare for words because there is just so much wrong with this definition.

The first time Aquaman actually uses his powers in this book, and I think he’s warning a fish about some…eels? But I can’t be sure because his gigantic thought balloon is obscuring everything.

Unless the fish is the strange shape!

Because that scuba diver seems completely oblivious to the fact that she’s right next to Aquaman. Plus Aquaman isn’t talking to her. He’s talking to the fish.

Definition Gripes:

Not to mention the highly questionable definitions on this page. If I’m to believe this, my back is just a part of my body. I know it’s not my arm, but maybe it’s just another word for arm! It carries things, after all.

And “Back of that rock is a strange shape” isn’t a sentence. It should be “in back” if they really want to play that game. Because “back” is not a preposition.

There is just a lot wrong with this entire word and picture — more than most of the ones in this book. It’s almost like they felt the need to make up for Aquaman using his powers for once by just having this entire definition make no sense, in or out of context.
